Make a Difference for Families

We hold events throughout the year, and need help with set up, spreading the word, asking for sponsorships, seeking donations of gift cards or other items to be  used for silent auctions.

Lego Giveaways

One of Nathaniel's favorite pastimes during cancer treatments and hospital visits was building LEGOS.He seemed to have an engineer/architects mind at a very young age, but when he discovered LEGO's, a whole new world opened up for him. He was able to see one positive thing about going into surgery or treatment: he knew that there would be a LEGO waiting for him. At one point, one of the tumors in his brain had paralyzed his left hand, but that did not stop him from using one hand to build them. His love for building was amazing, which is why we opted to create the logo we use to identify Team Nathaniel. In honor of our Master Builder, we know he would want other children to also enjoy building LEGO's, so we created a donation drive that will provide free LEGO's to children undergoing childhood cancer treatment.

Christmas Holiday Heroes

Every Christmas, Team Nathaniel adopts 6 families (2 from Children’s Hospital in Aurora, 2 from Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs and 2 from Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in Denver). Families are identified and nominated by health navigators within the hospital. Team Nathaniel strives to grant each family their holiday wishes, knowing their resources are limited and providing their family a wish-filled Christmas becomes our mission. It is such a wonderful time of year to see how excited the children are when we visit. Siblings are included, and a little holiday cheer is often provided to parents to cover some basic expenses. Meet our Holiday Heroes. If you would like to donate to help us spread the holiday cheer, you can donate HERE (provide a button to donate link). If you are a business owner and want to offer something to the families please contact us HERE (provide button to email address).
